If you’re feeling unsure how to begin, you’re not alone. Maybe you have a few potential topics and want help identifying which one best showcases your story—or you simply need guidance getting words on the page. During a one-on-one consultation (in person or virtual), we’ll talk through your ideas, interpret the prompt, and outline a strategy that makes the writing process feel manageable and inspired.

🔍 Step 2: Edit + Refine

Shape your story and strengthen your structure.

Once you’ve drafted your essay, it’s time to elevate it. Editing is where your ideas start to take full form. I’ll help you refine organization, pacing, and flow so your essay reads naturally and persuasively. You’ll receive constructive feedback about what’s working, what could be clarified, and how to best highlight your authentic voice.

This stage focuses on:

Strengthening narrative structure and clarity
Tightening language and transitions
Ensuring your voice remains 100% your own

Perfect your final draft before submission.

Even the strongest essay can lose impact with small errors or inconsistencies. A fresh set of eyes ensures your final version is clean, consistent, and professional. I’ll carefully review your essay for grammar, punctuation, and style, making light edits where needed for readability—always keeping your personal tone intact.
