My Story

I’ve had a love of the written word ever since I could hold a crayon. Over the past 30 years as a strategic marketing and communications leader, I’ve helped elevate brand visibility and guide mission-driven storytelling across healthcare, research, technology and nonprofit sectors.

But my favorite stories don’t come from campaigns—they come from students finding their own voices. As the mom of two sports-loving boys, this side venture began when I helped my oldest navigate his college essays and had an aha! moment: I could combine my professional expertise with my passion for mentoring young writers.

Now, through Wr!te Aw@y, I’m sharing that experience with families beginning their own college journey and helping students uncover authentic stories that shine on the page while standing out in the process.
